10TPH Rock Coltan Ore Processing Plant in Mozambique
Sortek Group has provided a complete project solution for the 10TPH rock coltan ore processing plant to its Mozambique customer, including rock sample testing, flow chart design, and full-set equipment installation.
The raw ore is of rock type, containing coltan, tin, ilmenite, iron, and tungsten. Our process is designed to separate each of these minerals effectively.
Coltan Ore Mining Process Flowchart
1. Rough Crusher (Primary Crusher): Used to crush rocks with a maximum size of 250mm down to -100mm.
2. Fine Jaw Crusher: Used to crush 100mm rocks down to 30mm.
3. Ball Mill: Used to grind 30mm rocks into 1mm particles, ensuring the maximum release of heavy minerals.
4. Shaking Table (Gravity Separation Machine): Used to separate heavy minerals from light sand. A two-stage separation process is adopted here: the middling (semi-concentrated material) from the first stage is sent to the second-stage shaking table for re-separation, maximizing the recovery of heavy minerals.
5. 3 Sets of Disc Dry Magnetic Separators: Serves as the final refining equipment, adopting a dry processing method. It features high-intensity magnetism (adjustable from 0 to 16,000 gauss) and can effectively separate iron, ilmenite, tungsten, coltan, and tin ore. This type of magnetic separator is widely used in tin ore, tungsten ore, and coltan ore mining plants.
The crushing and grinding sections can also be applied to processing plants for rock gold, rock chrome, rock tin ore, and rock tungsten ore, among others. Process capacity can be customized according to customer requirements.
