Gold Mining Process Flow

The process flow is: Jaw crusher → Hammer mill → Shaking table. This flow sheet is quite suitable for small scale rock gold-bearing ore processing, especially for 1-2 tons per hour capacity rocky gold.

Description

In December 2016, our factory Sortek Group built a small rock gold ore mining plant for our Congo client. The processing capacity is 1-2 tons per hour, and the rock gold mine is located in Kisangani, DRC Congo.

The gold processing plant is composed of 1 set of Jaw crusher, 1 set of Conveyor belt, 1 set of Hammer mill, 1 set of Water pump, and 2 sets of Shaking tables. As per the client’s requirement, the Jaw Crusher and Hammer Mill are driven by diesel engines. The Hammer mill is heightened on a steel support frame, with a platform and guardrail, and also includes 2 feeding chutes to the shaking tables.

The feeding size of raw ores is 120-150mm. For the Hammermill, over 90% of the output size can be controlled to -1mm, so it can feed into the Shaking Table directly.

In Africa, many rock gold mine conditions are quite similar to this client’s. The raw ores are quartz rocks with relatively high gold grade, so adopting this processing method is very effective with a high recovery rate.

Gold Extraction Methods from Ore

Sortek Group provides a reasonable gold mining process flow chart and customizable gold extraction machines for different types of gold ore, including mineral gold, alluvial gold, placer gold, stream gold, and hard rock gold mining. Besides, gold extraction methods from ore vary, such as CIP gold processing plant, CIL gold processing plant, and cyanidation process for gold extraction.

Our factory Sortek Group has an experienced engineering team that can design gold wash plants, recommend suitable machine models, and provide professional installation, commissioning, and complete after-sales services for customers. Our chief engineer Mr. Wen also provided installation and commissioning guidance for this small rock gold plant, as well as training for workers at the mine site.
