200TPH Diamond Processing Plant in Angola
Basic Project Information
Mineral Type: Clay Diamond Ore
Design Capacity: 200 Tons Per Hour (200TPH)
Diamond Processing Flow
Material Extraction & Feeding: A backhoe extracts material and feeds it into a hopper. A vibration feeder is installed under the hopper, which separates out material larger than 70mm (+70mm); the remaining 0-70mm material is sent to the trommel scrubber.
Trommel Scrubber Treatment: The trommel scrubber has two parts — one for washing the material clean, and the other (a screen) for separating material into different sizes.
Vibration Screening: After the trommel scrubber, the material is sent to a vibration screen for further size separation.
Diamond Separation: The size-classified material is processed by a jig machine to extract diamonds.
Introduction to Trommel Scrubber
The trommel scrubber is a key piece of equipment for washing clay diamond ore. Many clay-rich mines require pre-washing; otherwise, the diamond recovery rate will be significantly lower.
Key features of the trommel scrubber:
It is specially suitable for washing clay-containing ores, though it does not directly recover concentrates.
It has wide applicability, suitable for clay ores of various minerals such as gold, diamond, tin, chrome, and tantalum-niobium.
Project Status & Follow-Up
The existing 200TPH diamond processing line has been in operation for one year and achieved good results.
The customer plans to build another 200TPH line. Our engineers have visited the mine site for inspection:
Most parts of the existing plant are in good condition, with minor details to be optimized.
Engineers also inspected the new ore site to select the most suitable equipment for the new line.
Our factory is committed to continuously optimizing diamond processing equipment to improve performance.
