Manganese Ore Mining & Beneficiation

Manganese ores can be basically divided into manganese oxide ore, manganese carbonate ore, polymetallic manganese ore, etc. Therefore, manganese beneficiation equipment is also diverse. Manganese ore is generally sorted by gravity separation. For manganese ore with finer and more uniform grain size, the beneficiation effect can be improved by strong magnetic separation or flotation. The following is a brief introduction to the beneficiation equipment and process of manganese ore mining.


1. Gravity Separation

Manganese gravity separation process flow: Raw ore enters the silo and is crushed by a coarse jaw crusher through a belt conveyor, then enters a fine crusher for secondary crushing. After two-stage crushing, the ore is basically free of large stones and is screened by a vibrating screen. The crushed ore is divided into two grades: 0-8mm and 8-30mm. Coarse ore larger than 30mm is returned to the crusher for re-crushing. The 0-8mm grade manganese ore is fed into the 2LTC6109/8T jig for gravity separation, and the 8-30mm grade manganese ore enters the AM30 jig for gravity separation, obtaining 0-8mm grade manganese concentrate and 8-30mm grade manganese concentrate respectively.


1.1 Manganese Ore Magnetic Separator

Applying high-quality NdFeB material to make the strong magnetic roller, with a magnetic field strength of up to 15000 Gauss, which can effectively separate various weak magnetic minerals such as hematite, limonite, specularite, manganese ore, and garnet.


Manganese ore magnetic separator is mainly used for magnetic beneficiation of medium and fine-grained manganese oxide ore, manganese carbonate ore and other minerals. It has the advantages of high efficiency, energy saving, environmental protection, dry beneficiation and waterless operation.


1.2 Manganese Ore Jig Concentrator

The specific gravity difference between manganese and gangue in manganese oxide ore is large. Gravity separation can carry out efficient separation for most manganese oxide ores. The main gravity separation equipment is the jig machine. It can efficiently perform jig beneficiation of 0-50mm manganese oxide ore with excellent beneficiation effect.


Manganese ore jig is mainly used for beneficiation of coarse, medium and fine-grained embedded manganese ore. It has the advantages of high efficiency, energy saving and environmental protection.


2. Manganese Ore Flotation Machine

Manganese ore can also be separated by flotation. Manganese ore flotation machine is mainly used for flotation of manganese carbonate ore and polymetallic manganese ore, and is suitable for separation of fine-grained embedded ores.


There are many types of manganese ore mining processes and beneficiation equipment. According to different mineral properties, different beneficiation processes and configurations can be adopted to obtain better beneficiation indicators. The specific process also commonly uses auxiliary equipment such as washing machines, vibrating screens, ball mills, crushers, and electromagnetic vibrating feeders.
